Stefan Kurz

Studied history and political science; since 2013 employed in the Museum of Military History/Institute of Military History (HGM/MHI); collaboration in several exhibition projects, incl. as co-curator of travelling exhibitions; research focus Austrian military history in the "long nineteenth century" and the interwar period, and history of the HGM/MHI (currently dissertation project on the history of the k. u. k. Heeresmuseum during the First World War); since March 2020 also responsible for provenance research in the HGM/MHI.

Heeresgeschichtliches Museum

The institutional roots of the Heeresgeschichtliches Museum (Museum of Military History) go back to the eighteenth century, when a public exhibition of imperial armour, ceremonial weapons, war trophies and mementos was shown in the imperial armoury from 1759 in Renngasse, Vienna

Albert Klein

Albert Klein was born in present-day Slovakia. He and his wife Szidonie were Jewish and lived at the latest from 1903 in Vienna, where Klein was a timber merchant.

Géza Radó

Géza Radó was born in Hungary. Both he and his wife Pauline, née Blau, were Jewish and lived at the latest from 1902 in Vienna. In 1910 he became co-proprietor of Radó & Zeisler and in 1915 sole proprietor of the company.
